Here is the end of the conga line that I found snaking it's way up the mountain. It's fairly steep but pretty much any one can make it up to the top. So I think that it turns out that every tourist that comes to Hawaii make this a 'must do' at some point. Anyway, it had stopped raining and even this old man huffed and puffed his way to the top and it was well worth it. And at the end, on my way out of the park, I was rewarded with this beautiful rainbow. Wow!

Beautiful pictures!!! What a rainbow, so glad you had the camera to take a pic and share it here in blogland. July in Hawaii would be rare not to have a few dozen tourists along with you, looks like it was a wonderful morning - no food pic?? I'm hungry.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this... been on this hike a few times, and always enjoyed it. I've taken some of the same pics!
